This is fascinating information coming from this man of God, I am positive that the LORD was pleased with the work put forth by Harold Frodge

This is a 45-minute dissertation on the subject, “The NIV Bible and its connection to Catholicism.” Harold Frodge was a commissioned evangelist for the Church of the Nazarene for over 40 years. Mr. Frodge fought for the King James Bible within the Nazarene Denomination. This discussion starts out with a verse-by-verse study of missing verses in the NIV. Then Mr. Frodge presents evidence from the translators and editors about the roots and basis of the NIV, as well as its connection to the Catholic Church. It is of utmost importance to Christians who believe in the Bible to educate themselves on the problems with the newer translations, specifically the NIV, which is, used much in our Nazarene churches. This audio has very detailed information that will equip the layman to know the truth about his Bible. As well, you can see how the influence of replacing our King James Bibles with the NIV, has added to the degradation of our denomination. This audio paints a dramatic picture of the history of the Bible, the NIV, the Nazarenes and Catholic Church. Are we Catholic? Or are we Protestant? The blood that was shed to free us from Catholic rule many centuries ago cries out for us to take a stand. Mr. Frodge went to be with the LORD in 2007, still standing for the truths presented in this audio. This issue means a lot to me, as I personally carried the NIV for many years. I sometimes questioned some of the readings, but chalked up my misgivings to not having enough knowledge and understanding to comprehend certain things. Sad to say, I could never get answers from my elderly pastor. He was a good country preacher, but did not expound in his teaching. This has all changed, thanks be to our Great GOD! I am grateful that I now see that my biggest problem has been with the Bible I carried. By His grace, I find myself changing ever more to the conformity of our LORD, and I believe this due to the KJB. Most of the Nazarenes I know carry anything other than the KJB, so this is a subject matter which causes great confusion among brethren. Within our denomination or for that matter any denomination to approach the Bible issue calls for wisdom. If you are going to speak on the Bible debate, educate yourself. I hope your search for the truth is aided by this audio presentation of Mr. Frodge.

Sueb1988, do you know where I could obtain a copy of the late Bro. Harold Frodge audio on the NIV? I tried to download, but it only played about 5 minutes of the message and stopped. Error message came up and stated file no longer available.
I would love to hear and put on CD the entire message. I’ve never been a fan of the NIV that is so prevalent in the Nazarene Church. Of course today, it seems all versions are being used, except the KJV. In the church I attend, I would say less than two percent use the KJV. I’m
actually considering leaving the Nazarene Church, not only because of the confusion of using all these different versions of the Bible, but for other reasons as well.

In reply to your request, I will check with my husband on the possibility of getting
the download for you. I received a copy of Harold Frodge from a friend of mine.
The copy was in bad condition; therefore my husband went to work at removing all background
Hissing and other troublesome noises. Once that was accomplished I think you would agree Harold’s message is extremely informational. I hope we as Christians will seriously look at matters which are of the utmost importance to our Christian faith. Where is the final Authority. I believe God gave us a book which contains all his words, and it’s not the NIV!

Harold was my grandfather. I know that all of his tapes are still available through my aunt. I will try to contact her asap so you can get any copies you need.

Marie, I would be interested to get copies of your grandfather’s material, thank you for your gracious offer to contact your aunt on our behalf. Seeking information on your grandfather has been difficult at best. To my understanding he had several children; I spoke to one of his daughters which gave me her brother’s phone number to contact. I tried to contact him, but was unable to reach anyone. Your grandfather must have been a wonderful Christian man. I find his subject prophetic; we are seeing the infiltration of exactly what he spoke on coming into the Nazarene Denomination. I don’t understand why Windows Media Player would not play but approximately the first 5 minutes of the message. Even with what little I heard of the message, I realized it is very informative. That’s why I would really like to receive the full message.

Greetings once again, I mean I can make C.D.’s for you . We have a home office capable to meet these types of needs. I spoke with my husband and he’s not sure of the problem, therefore if you are interested I will move forward in completing your need. Let me know how many copies, I believe many Nazarenes would find this disturbing. I know my heart broke at what I was hearing from Harold as he spoke of this subject.

I am a member of the North Pekin Church of the Nazarene. Harold was our favorite evangelist. How long had he been out of the evangelistic field when he passed away? He truly was one of a kind.
